The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started the List of Candidates (LOC) submission process for Class 10 and Class 12 Board Exams 2027 from September 24, 2026. All CBSE affiliated schools can now upload the LOC details of eligible candidates via the official website cbse.gov.in.
There is no late fee for submitting the LOC till October 21, 2026. Only those candidates whose names are uploaded via the LOC process will be eligible to write the CBSE board exams 2027.
As per the CBSE notice released on September 17, schools are advised to take care of the LOC submission process.

CBSE Class 10 and 12 LOC Submission 2027 Details
For the CBSE Class 10 Board Exams 2027, the LOC will be submitted for the first board examination round that is scheduled to take place in the month of February-March 2027.
The second LOC submission for Class 10 board examination will be made separately from the first examination round.
It is clearly indicated by the CBSE that only those students who will be mentioned in the online LOC submission will be permitted to sit in the Class 10 and Class 12 Board Exams 2027.

In respect of class 12, CBSE has said that class 10 students have to pass from a recognised school education board on or before 2025 academic year.

Important Instructions for CBSE LOC Submission
According to CBSE, it is necessary for schools to verify all the details prior to submission of the LOC application form. Once the LOC application form submission procedure gets over, then no requests for subject change, admission to Class 10 and Class 12 except transfer cases, and some CWSN relaxations shall be entertained.
It is recommended that schools submit the LOC application form in time and make sure that the details of the students are correct according to the official records.
