The Chhattisgarh State Open School declared the result for 10th and 12th class Main examination on May 29. The examinations were conducted from March to April 2019. Students can check their results at the FastResult website and Mobile Application.

Around 77,518 students registered for the 10th class examination out of which 73799 appeared for the same. A total of 1753 students passed the Chhattisgarh SOS 10th class exam in the first division followed by 9874 students in second and 23669 in the third division. The overall passing percentage is 49.67%. This is an increase of 2.85% from last year when 46.82% of students who appeared, passed the examination.
In higher secondary certificate examinations, a total of 76291 students registered of which 73088 students appeared. A total of 4162 students passed the examination in first followed by 12274 in second and 17566 students who passed the examination in the third division. The overall passing percentage was recorded at 54.70% as 35274 students passed the exam. This is an increase of 3.88% from last year when 50.82% of students passed the CGSOS higher secondary exam.
In both the examinations, girls have outperformed boys. In Chhattisgarh high school exams, as many as 53.83% of girls passed against 47.70% boys. In the higher secondary, 57.10% girls and 52.49 boys passed the exam.
Those students who failed the board examinations will be given another chance to appear for re-evaluation examinations in August-September 2019, according to an official announcement by the Board.
