The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has declared the Class 10 results on April 26, 2026. Students can now download their marksheets from the board's official websites. This year, 20,618 regular fresh candidates appeared for the exam, and 19,486 of them passed. The overall pass percentage stands at a strong 94.51%.

Girls have once again taken the lead over boys. Out of 9,805 girls who appeared, 9,414 cleared the exam with a pass rate of 96.01%. Among boys, 10,072 out of 10,813 passed, recording 93.15%. A total of 594 candidates fell under the Needs Improvement (NI) category, while 191 were placed under the Reserved category.
Category and Caste-Wise Breakdown
Among different social categories, OBC students performed the best with a pass rate of 98.11%. ST candidates followed at 97.16%, General category students at 94.23%, and SC students at 93.33%.
Private candidates, however, didn't fare as well. Private fresh candidates recorded just 31.29%, and private repeaters managed 29.24%. That's a wide gap compared to the 94.51% pass rate of regular fresh candidates.
Taluka-Wise Performance
Pernem taluka topped the list with a pass rate of 98.16%. Canacona came in second at 96.65%, followed by Ponda at 96.41%. On the other end, Mormugao recorded the lowest pass rate at 90.99%, while Sattari stood at 92.77%.
Top-Performing Centres
Among the 32 examination centres, Paingin and Mapusa-B stole the show with near-perfect pass rates of 99.4% and 99%, respectively. Cuncolim followed at 97.3%. However, centres like Navelim and Vasco lagged behind, both at 91.7%.
School-Wise Results
Several schools have hit a perfect 100% pass rate this year. These include St. Britto's High School, Mapusa; Holy Cross High School, Bastora; St. Mary's Convent, Mapusa; Lourdes Convent, Saligao; and St. Francis Xavier High School, Mapusa. On the flip side, a few schools had a high number of NI cases. AIM English Medium High School in Navelim, for example, recorded 30 NI cases out of 105 students.
Re-evaluation and Verification of Marks
The Board has asked schools to download the consolidated result sheets from the Goa Board's School Portal starting April 28, 2026. The online portal (gbshse.gov.in) will also open for applications related to verified photocopies, re-evaluation, and verification of marks in absentia from the same date. Here's the fee structure:

Students who apply for a verified photocopy or re-evaluation can't apply for verification of marks in absentia at the same time. All fees must be paid through the payment gateway available on the Goa Board's website. No applications will be accepted after the mentioned deadlines. The Board has also tentatively scheduled the Second SSC Examination to start on June 6, 2026.

Step 2: Look for the Class 10 result link on the homepage and click on it.
Step 3: You'll be taken to a login page. Enter your seat number or roll number to view your marksheet.
Step 4: Once you submit the details, your marksheet will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Download the result and keep a hard copy for future reference.
