The Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (HPBOSE) has released the exam dates for compartment, improvement, and additional subjects for Class 8, Class 10, and Class 12 exams in 2023. The examinations for Classes 8, 10, and 12 are scheduled to take place from September 4, 2023.
It's important to note that the Class 8 compartment, improvement, and additional subjects exam is exclusively for state open school students, while the Class 10 and Class 12 exams are open to regular as well as state open school students.

According to the HPBOSE 2023 exam schedule, Class 8 and Class 10 board exams will be conducted from September 4 to September 13. On the other hand, the HPBOSE compartment exams for Class 12 will take place between September 4 and September 22. These exams will be conducted at designated centers across the state.
The regular students will have their exams scheduled from 8:45 am to 12 noon, while the open school students will take their exams in the afternoon shift, from 1:45 pm to 5 pm.
