Council For The Indian School Certificate has declared the ICSE and ISC compartment exam result 2019 today i.e August 7 at 3 pm on FastResult website and Mobile Application. To download the result, students need to log in with a UID and index number. The result shows marks scored in each subject and an overall pass certificate. As per the news report published when the compartment exam date sheet was released, initially, the result was supposed to be published on August 5, 2019.

This is the first time that the CISCE Board conducted compartment examination for ICSE (10th) and ISC (12th) students. The council secretary had said after CICSE results that they wanted to provide students with another chance to retake the examination, and hence they decided to hold the compartment examinations. Students needed to pass English and three more subjects in order to be qualified for the compartment examinations.
ICSE and ISC compartment examination was held from July 15 to 17, 2019. All the papers were of 2 hours, except second languages papers that were of 3 hours, and mathematics of 2.5 hours.
The pass percentage of ICSE students in the year 2019 was at 98.54%, and that for ISC was 96.52%. Both the pass percentages were higher than the last time when they were 98.51% and 96.21% respectively.
Compartment exams act as a second chance for students to get the minimum passing marks and pass their class. A number of exam boards in India conduct compartment or supplementary exams after declaring the regular examination results.
CISCE Board is a national education board. Students from 9th to 12th class appear for board examinations under CISCE. The board came into existence on November 03, 1958. CISCE was developed with the aim of giving quality education among students.
