The Department of Pre University Education, Karnataka has declared the result for 2nd PUC students today i.e. on April 15, 2019, at 11:00 am. The passing percentage is 61.73% for this year. Initially, the Karnataka Board has published the result in the DPUE Office. Now, at 12 noon, the web link of the result will be activated. The students who had appeared for the Pre University examinations can now check the results. Karnataka Board declares the result online on the FastResult website and Mobile App.

How to Get Karnataka PUC II Result 2019?
- First, visit the FastResult website and App.
- After that, click the link of 12th Result
- Now the students search the Karnataka Board from the search bar menu
- Then, click the Check Result Now.
- Fill the Required Details
- Now your Karnataka PUC II Result 2019 will be displayed on the screen.
- Check your marks obtained carefully and download it.

Among Udupi district has this year again topped followed by Dakshin Kannada. The overall passing percentage is 61.73% with girls outperforming boys by scoring 68.2%. This year too, the rural schools have secured 62.88% while the urban schools are at 61.38%. Among streams wise, science students have obtained 66.58% and commerce at 66.39%. There has been an overall increase of 2.15% from the last year.
To pass the 2nd PUC exam, students need to obtain 35% aggregate marks. Students will need to obtain a minimum of 70 marks in the language exams and 30 marks each in individual subjects for a total of 210 out of 600 marks.
This year, more than 8.41 lakh students have registered for the SSLC examination, while 6.73 lakh students for the PU 2nd examination. Last year, the result was published on April 30 and a total of 6,90,000 students appeared for the PUC 2nd examination. As many as 68 PU colleges have recorded 100% passes, while in 118 PU schools scored 0. However, the overall pass percentage has improved by 7.18% from 52.38% in 2017 to 59.56%.
The girls had defeated boys with a passing percentage of 67.11% against 52.3%. In 2017, the passing percentage of rural schools is more than that of urban schools (59.95% against 59.45% respectively). This year, around 8.41 lakh students have registered for the SSLC exam, while 6.73 lakh students for the PU II exam. Last year the PU II exam result was declared on April 30, while SSLC on May 7, 2019. The students of 2nd PUC appeared for the examinations from March 01, 2019. The first examination was for Economics/Physics while the last examination was for English. The last date for the exams was March 18, 2019.
Last year, around 6,90,150 students appeared for the PUC examinations. Out of the total students, about 3,37,860 were boys and 3,52,292 were girls. The overall passing percentage was around 59.36%. Coming to the performance of the students genderwise, 52% of the boys passed the examinations and 66% of the girls cleared the examinations. So, the girls defeated boys in the previous year.
