Students in Nagaland waiting for their board exam schedule can stop refreshing the website now. The Nagaland Board of School Education has finally released the 2026 exam timetable for HSLC (Class 10), HSSLC (Class 12), and Class 11 Promotion Exams.

When Do Exams Begin?
Class 12 students are up first. Their exams start on February 12, 2026 with English.
Class 10 exams follow right after, beginning on February 13, 2026 with Social Science.
Class 11 Promotion Exams run alongside Class 12 but in the afternoon slot.
Class 10 (HSLC) Exam Schedule
Here's when each paper is happening:
February 13 (Friday) – Social Science
February 16 (Monday) – Science
February 18 (Wednesday) – English
February 20 (Friday) – Second Language (you pick from Alt. English, Ao, Bengali, Hindi, Lotha, Tenyidie, or Sumi)
February 24 (Tuesday) – Mathematics A or Mathematics B
February 26 (Thursday) – Sixth Subjects like Book Keeping, Environmental Education, IT Foundation, or Music
Same day, February 26, vocational subjects happen from 9 am to 11 am. This covers Agriculture, Automotive, Beauty & Wellness, Electronics, ITES, Multi Skill Foundation, Plumbing, Retail, and Tourism & Hospitality.

Class 11 follows almost the same dates as Class 12 but shifts to the afternoon. Exams run from 1 pm to 4 pm.
The subjects and dates mirror Class 12 for the most part. Vocational papers on March 7 run shorter, from 1 pm to 3 pm. Environmental Education wraps things up on March 9.

Exam Timings to Remember
For Class 10 and 12 board exams, all papers happen in the morning from 9 am to 12 noon.
Class 11 Promotion Exams are in the afternoon from 1 pm to 4 pm.
Vocational papers have shorter durations, usually two hours.
A Few Reminders
Show up at least 30 minutes before the exam starts. Nobody wants last-minute panic.
Carry your admit card every single day. They won't let you in without it.
Bring the basics – pens, pencils, geometry box for Maths. Leave your phone at home or it'll just cause trouble.
