The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has announced the exam dates for Class 10 and Class 12 students for the October-November 2024 session. These dates apply to both Indian and overseas students, with exams starting on October 22, 2024.
For Class 10 in India, the exams will begin with Carnatic Sangeet and Employability Skills and end with Hindustani Sangeet on November 29. Class 12 exams will start with Veda Adhyayan, Early Childhood Care, and Employability Skills, and finish with Economics on November 29.

Most exams will last three hours. In India, exams will be held from 2:30 to 5:30 pm, and for overseas students, they’ll run from 3 to 6 pm.
NIOS has confirmed the exam dates won’t change. Admit cards will be available on the NIOS website at sdmis.nios.ac.in, and results are expected around seven weeks after the last exam.
