The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has issued notification for the October 2026 theory examination. The dates have been announced for Secondary (Class 10) and Senior Secondary (Class 12) courses. As per the datesheet, the examinations will begin on October 22, 2026, at various examination centres.
Students scheduled to appear in exam can check the datesheet on NIOS website at sdmis.nios.ac.in. The time table includes subject-wise examination dates, subject codes and timings for both classes.

- Hall Ticket: Download from the NIOS website.
- Reading Time: 15 minutes before the exam.
- Result: Expected seven weeks after the last exam.
- Certificates: Issued through respective Accredited Institutions.
- Special Exams: Some regional centres have separate exam dates.
