The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) has released the half-yearly exam schedule for the 2025-26 academic year. This schedule applies to all students from grades 6 to 12.
Class 10 and 12 exams will begin on December 10, 2025. Class 6 to 9 exams will begin on December 15, 2025. Class 11 exams will also be held at the same time, but in the afternoon session.
TN Board SSLC and Plus Two Exam Schedule
The first exam will be for Tamil/First Language on December 10, 2025. The next day, on December 11, will be the English/Second Language paper. The remaining days will be for Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and optional subjects. The final exam will conclude on December 23, 2025.
TN Board Half Yearly Exam Time and Duration
- Exam Time: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
- Question Paper Reading Time: 9:45 AM to 9:55 AM (10 minutes)
- Verification Time: 5 minutes
- Exam Duration: December 10 to December 23, 2025
