The Madhyamik exam is conducted from February 2, 2026, to February 12, 2026, by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education. This examination has been conducted in one shift, with the test running from 10:45 am to 2:00 pm. Fifteen minutes have been allotted to read the question paper.
There are a total of 9,71,340 candidates participating in this examination. A total number of 2,682 schools have participated in conducting the exam. Of these, 945 were actual examination centres, and 1,737 were sub-centres. Students dissatisfied with the result can file an appeal once the result has been released.
