Speaking to FastResult, the board president Kalyanmoy Ganguly said, The West Bengal board will declare the results through a press conference on May 21 at 09:00 AM. The students who have appeared for the examination this year can get the WB Board Madhyamik Result 2019 through the FastResult website and Mobile Application at 10:00 AM.

West Bengal Board of Secondary Education is a state level education board in the West Bengal. The board was established in 1951 introduced by West Bengal governor Dr. KN Katju. And the chairman of the board was Sri Apurba Kumar Chanda. The basic functions of the board introduce controlling, regulating and developing the secondary education in the state level and to control the final examinations in the school which were before carried out through the Calcutta University. After the name of the West Bengal board changed to WBBSE in the year 1964. It is an independent body and it manages secondary and Madhyamik Pariksha in the state yearly for more than 10 lakh students in the West Bengal state.
