In the past year (2016): The overall passing ratio in the state were at 92.73. The passing ratio for boys was 76.02 and 75.70 for girls, Board Secretary, Meghna Choudhry, said. The Minister said 167 candidates of many schools shared 15 positions in the topper list. Of them, 13 candidates are of government schools.
Tanisha Vijay, a candidate of Mahaveer Public Senior Secondary School, Sawai Madhopur obtained the first position with 99.17% marks. Tushar Sharma of Tagore Public Senior Secondary School, Sikri were second with 99 percent marks. Deputy Director Rajendra Gupta said 10,51,105 candidates had seemed for the exam and with them, 7,97,672 passed.
In 2015: Ekta Agrawal, a candidate of Creative Public Senior Secondary School (Sawai Madhopur) has obtained the first position with 595/600 marks (99.17%). The second position has been received with two candidates – Ayushi Agrawal or Deepak Meena both securing 593 marks (98.83%). The third position has been received by three students Himanshu Sharma, Arushikha Taya and Rajat Jakhar each scoring 590 marks (98.33%). The overall passing ratio is 89.61%.
In 2014 recorded a passing ratio of 86.93. A total of 11, 04,326 students appeared for the examination. Regular students recorded a passing ratio of 66.99. Boys proved better than girls drawing a passing ratio of 66.69 which is marginally leading than girls that are 66.46.
In 2013 around 84,242 candidates got recorded for this exam in which 82,980 students seemed. The total of 27,999 candidates passed with the 1st division, the 2nd division secured by 3,818 candidates, and 3rd division by 3,524 candidates. 15 candidates passed with grace marks and round about 5,452 candidates got supplementary in the exams. The overall passing ratio of 85.45% this year was also slightly much better than 63.31% in 2012.
