The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced to conduct CBSE Term 2 exam from April 26, 2022. The CBSE Class 10, 12 term 2 date sheet will be soon released on the official website, cbse.nic.in, as per the latest CBSE notice. The board clarified that there will be no change in the exam pattern for the CBSE Class 10, 12 term 2 board exam and the question papers will be same as that of the CBSE sample paper. You can go through the official notice issued by CBSE from the link given below.
The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct CBSE term 2 exam for Classes 10 and 12 in offline mode. “The board after discussion with various stakeholders and taking into consideration the COVID-19 situation in the country has decided to conduct second-term board exams in offline mode only,” CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj said.
As per the latest notice released by the CBSE, "Students will be appearing in the examination from the allotted exam centres like CBSE term 1 exam."
The detailed date sheet will be released soon on cbse.nic.in, it added.
The CBSE has bifurcated the syllabus into two terms for this academic year. CBSE term 1 exam for both Class 10, 12 was conducted from November to December 2021 and the board followed multiple-choice questions (MCQ) format. The CBSE term 2, however, will have subjective-type questions.
The CBSE Class 10, 12 term 2 question paper will have different formats such as case-based/ situation based, open-ended- short answer/ long answer type. Term 2 paper will be of 2 hours duration.
Students who were demanding to cancel CBSE term 2 exam said on social media that it's “impossible” to complete 50% syllabus in two months.
Class 10, 12 students can download the CBSE board syllabus 2021-22 for each subject from the official website, cbseacademic.nic.in. Meanwhile, CBSE Term 1 resultfor Class 10, 12 is also expected soon on cbseresults.nic.in.
For the first time, the central education board is conducting Class 10 and Class 12 final exams in two terms. This has been done in view of the current Covid situation in the country.
Last year, during the second wave of Covid, the board could not conduct exams and had to come up with an alternative assessment scheme to prepare results.
The board recently warned students against fake notices regarding term 1 result date and misinformation about term 2 exams. In the term-2 exam notification, CBSE reiterated that any exam-related information on social media should be taken into account after verifying it on the official website.
