Maharashtra SSC Exam Pattern Change for Social Science

Maharashtra SSC Exam Pattern Change for Social Science

11 February, 2019, 5:29 pm

Maharashtra SSC Examinations 2019 about to start. But before that, the Maharashtra board has come up with great support for the students of the 10th class. As per the news, the state education department has decided not to add 9th class questions in Maharashtra 10th class Social Science paper. The board has announced for the same at the state level. As per the announcement, students of 10th class will not be asked to attempt the last year questions in Social Science.

Maharashtra Board exams are coming near and candidates are taking a lot of stress. Therefore, keeping in mind the candidate’s benefits Maharashtra board has come up with this important update in the exam pattern. But the update has been made for one subject only. For the rest of the subjects, candidates will be tested on the basis of last year questions too. In the language subjects, the candidates require to prepare the writing and grammar questions from the previous year. While in Science and Maths (both 1 and 2) papers the candidate will receive the questions of 40 marks weightage on the basis of 9th class concepts and formulas. But for History, Political Science, and Geography students gave the relaxation for not preparing the last year questions. For 2018-19, the Maharashtra board has come up with the latest exam pattern. This year candidate will not be allowed to appear for the oral exams and need to attempt the questions of total 100 marks papers without the maths and science.

With the update in the pattern of the question paper, the students of the 10th class have already in stress. Therefore, this decision of the education department might provide great relief to some extent. But, some parents are not happy. According to them, the department has to take the decision a little earlier. As by the month of December, most of the candidates have completed with their preparation and in the month of January, the candidates appeared for the preceding exams. So, if the Maharashtra education department published this change in the beginning then this would save the time of the candidates.

Maharashtra 10th class examinations 2019 are going to start from March 01 and will continue till March 22. The exams are going to start in 19 days. So, candidates are suggested there is no need to worry. Start improving the topics you have prepared with a calm and stress-free mind.
