The Class 12 supplementary exam was conducted on a single day – July 15 – based on the syllabus prescribed for the 2024–25 academic year board exams.
Steps to Download CBSE Class 12 Supplementary Exam Result 2025
Step 1: Visit the official website cbseresults.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the link "Class 12 Supplementary Result 2025".
Step 3: Log in by entering the roll number and date of birth.
Step 4: The result will appear on the screen.

Supplementary Exam Conduct and Statistics
This year the 12th supplementary exam was conducted on just one day — July 15. The exam was based on the prescribed syllabus. Last year, out of 1,31,396 students, 1,27,437 appeared and 37,957 students passed. The overall pass percentage was 29.78%.
Main Exam 2025 Statistics
A total of 17,04,367 students had registered for the 12th main exam this year, out of which 16,92,794 students appeared for the exam. Out of these, 14,96,307 students passed. The result was released on May 13.
New Grading System Introduced
From the academic session 2024-25, CBSE has introduced the relative grading system. While previously grades were based on a set number of marks (e.g. A1: 91-100), grades will now be based on a comparison of a student's performance with that of their peer group. This may change the grade cutoffs for different subjects.
