More than 82,000 students appeared in the 2nd PUC Exam 3 held in June 2025. This was the third and final attempt of the three-exam system introduced by KSEAB to relieve students from exam stress and improve marks.
After the original exam result declared on July 1, thousands of students had applied for revaluation and recalculation. Now the board has released the revised marks for students who had rechecked the result in one or more subjects.
What was the difference between revaluation and recalculation?
- Re-totalling: Checking of marks calculation only – fee ₹1,670 per subject.
- Revaluation: Re-checking of answers – free.
Students used both these options as they suspected errors in their answer sheets.

📌 What happens next?
KSEAB will release a consolidated result sheet in August 2025 which will include the best marks from exam 1, 2 or 3. Students will be able to use this mark sheet for college admission and eligibility.
Students who are still dissatisfied with the result after revaluation can contact the board, but the chances of further change in marks are very less.
Alternative options are also available
Students who are still not satisfied can look for other options like bridge courses, skill development programs, or entrance exam based courses. This can give them an alternative route to move forward in their career.
