The Karnataka School Examination and Evaluation Board (KSEAB) has declared the results of Class 12th Pre-University Certificate (PUC 2) Examination-3 on 30 June 2025. Students who appeared for Examination-3 from June 9 to June 20, 2025 can check their results on the website karresults.nic.in and kseab.karnataka.gov.in after 1 pm.
A total of 82,683 students appeared in PUC Examination-3, out of which 18,834 students have been declared successful. Thus the pass percentage of the third examination was 22.78%. This examination was conducted for those students who failed in Examination-1 and Examination-2.
A total of 1,11,002 repeaters and private candidates appeared in the third examination. Out of these, 22,446 students passed, making their pass percentage 20.22%. Last year i.e. in 2024, this pass percentage was 22.5%. Notably, out of 71,716 repeaters and private students, 16,136 students passed.
In the 2025 exam-3, 17,398 students appeared for mark improvement, out of which 11,937 students were successful in increasing their marks. This figure is higher than in 2024, when only 7,420 students improved their marks. The highest improvement was seen in subjects like Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.
Overall Analysis of the Results of All Three Exams
The overall pass percentage of all three exams (Exam-1, Exam-2, Exam-3) of PUC 2 is 85.19%. Out of a total of 6,39,800 students:
- Passed Exam-1: 4,68,439 students
- Passed Exam-2: 54,168 students
- Passed Exam-3: 22,446 students
- Thus, a total of 5,45,053 students were declared successful.
Out of 1.53 lakh students who appeared in Exam-2, 54,168 passed. The pass percentage of girls in this exam was 36.3%, while the pass percentage of boys was 34.3%. The pass percentage of private candidates was 31.2%.
