The dates for the Kerala Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) and Higher Secondary Examination (HSC) board exams in 2024 have been officially announced. According to the schedule, the Kerala SSLC exam for 2024 is scheduled to take place starting from March 4th, while the Kerala plus one board exam for 2024 will commence from March 1st.
The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education in Kerala is responsible for conducting the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams for 2024. The education department has also revealed that the draft State Curriculum Framework is set to be unveiled on September 21st.
Regarding the exam timings, the Kerala SSLC exam in 2024 will be conducted from 9.30 AM to 11.15 AM for some subjects, and from 9.30 AM to 12.15 PM for others. Additionally, the board has indicated that the evaluation process for the Kerala HSE practical exams will commence on January 22, 2024.
For Class 12 students, exams for subjects without practical components will occur from 9.30 AM to 12.15 PM, including a 15-minute break. Subjects that involve practical exams, except for biology and music, will be held from 9.30 AM to 11.45 AM. Students taking biology and music exams should take note of the slightly extended timings, from 9.30 AM to 11.55 AM.
Furthermore, the Kerala HSE practical exam evaluation will initiate on January 22, 2024. Additionally, the Kerala plus two model exams for 2023 are scheduled to take place from February 15 to February 21, 2024, in two sessions: forenoon and afternoon. Meanwhile, Kerala SSLC model exams for 2024 are slated for February 19 to 23.
