The National Institute of Open School Learning (NIOS) has released the date sheet for the Class 10 (Secondary) and Class 12 (Senior Secondary) public examinations 2025.
According to this, the theory examinations will be held from October 14, 2025, at selected examination centers across the country and abroad. The institute has clarified that there will be no subsequent changes to this date sheet.
According to the NIOS 2025 date sheet, the theory examinations for Class 10 and 12 will conclude by November 18, 2025. Students will be required to deposit the prescribed examination fee to appear for the exams. Previously, the institute had announced that the practical examinations for both Class 10 and 12 will be held between September 12 and 27, 2025.

Hall tickets for registered candidates will be made available through the student login on the official NIOS website, sdmis.nios.ac.in, before the exams. Students can download and print their hall tickets to avoid any problems at the examination center.
The results of the NIOS public theory examinations will be declared approximately 7 weeks after the final exam date. The notification states that no inquiries will be entertained regarding the actual result declaration date. The results will be made available immediately on the NIOS website, sdmis.nios.ac.in.
Students who pass both the practical and theory examinations will be issued a mark sheet-cum-certificate and a migration-cum-transfer certificate. If a student is absent or cancels the examination, their certificates will be sent by post to their residential address.
Students are advised to complete their preparations on time and regularly check the official website for updates to avoid missing any important information.
