The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, has officially declared the Class 12 (HSC +2) exam results 2025 today, May 8. Students can now check their scores on the official websites: dge.tn.gov.in and tnresults.nic.in.

Alongside the Plus Two results, the DGE has also announced the Class 11 (Plus One) supplementary exam results conducted in March.
This year, the overall pass percentage for the TN Class 12 board exams stands at 95.03%, showing a modest improvement of 0.47% over last year's performance. Once again, girls have outperformed boys, with a pass rate of 96.70%, compared to 93.16% for boys — a margin of 3.54%.

🗓️ Exam Schedule & Result Access
The Tamil Nadu Class 12 board exams were held between March 3 and March 25, with practical exams conducted earlier from February 7 to 14.
Students can access their results using their registration number and date of birth on the official portals. The scorecard will display subject-wise marks.
To obtain the original marksheets, students will need to visit their respective schools in the coming days. Details regarding supplementary exams will be shared soon.
📅 A Look Back at Last Year
In 2024, the TN Class 12 results were released on May 6, with exams held between March 1 and 22. The pass percentage was 94.56%, with girls securing 96.44% and boys at 92.37%. A total of 7.6 lakh students had appeared in the exam.
