Maharashtra Board Exams 2021 Update : Maharashtra SSC (10th) Exams 2021 After May 1, HSC (12th) After April 15

Maharashtra State Board exams are expected to commence after April 15 for Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) while the SSC students are likely to take the examination after May 1, 2021. Sharing the information, Maharashtra Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad took to Twitter and shared the dates for the board exams as she said 'a decision will be taken soon.’

“We are considering holding HSC exams after April 15 and SSC exams after May 1. The state is consulting health officials on the possibility of reopening schools for standard 5th to 8th. A decision will soon be taken,” Varsha Gaikwad said.

Every year, Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) releases the Maharashtra SSC, HSC Board exam 2021 date sheet on the official website, however, this year the process has been delayed in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition to this, Ms Gaikwad also said that the discussions are ongoing to consider the possibility of reopening schools for the students of Classes 5 to 8.


CBSE Board Exam Dates 2021 : CBSE Classes 10, 12 Board Exams To Begin From May 4

CBSE Class 10, 12 board examinations will be held from May 4, 2020, to June 10, 2021. The practical examinations will begin from March 1.

CBSE Classes 12 and 10 Board examinations will be held from May 4, 2021, to June 10, 2021. The practical examinations will begin from March 1, 2021. Class 12 board examination will be held in pen and paper mode at designated examination halls. Class 12 students can also check the official CBSE website for the full schedule of both theory and practical exams. Students are advised to take all precautions regarding the COVID-19 protocol.

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ has announced the CBSE Boards examination dates for Class 12 during his live session.

CBSE boards examination aspirants had been asking for the board examinations schedule for over a month. They had also complained of facing stress as they are clueless about the upcoming exams which would set course for their future career.

There were several live discussions conducted by the Education Minister on December 10, December 16 and December 22 to discuss CBSE Board examinations, engineering entrance examination JEE Main 2021 and medical entrance examination NEET 2021.


West Bengal 10th & 12th Datesheet 2021 : WBBSE Released Madhyamik, Uccha Madhyamik Datesheet 2021

The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) and West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) have released the exam dates for the madhyamik and uchha madhyamik pariksha or secondary examination 2021, respectively for both regular and external exams.

The madhyamik exam will be held from June 1 (11:45 am to 3 pm), while for uchha madhyamik, the exam will be held on June 15 (10 am to 1:15 pm), as per the official notice. During the exam, 15 minutes will be given to students exclusively to read the question papers.

The exam for computer application will be held for the duration of two hours and 45 minutes, for the theory exam and the practical exam will be by schools respectively. The dates of physical education and social service and work education will be announced later, as per the official notice.

All practical exams for class 12 will be held between March 10 and March 31. The official notice said, “The council may, if necessary, change the above dates with due intimation to all concerned.”


Kerala Board 12th Exam 2021 Update : Kerala Board Released Class 12th Examination Schedule 2021

The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) has released the schedule of Kerala Plus Two 2021 examination. An official notification regarding the Kerala class 12 registration has also been uploaded on the official website.

According to the schedule, the directorate will conduct the Class 12 exams for Arts from March 17 to 25, 2021. The Class 12 exams for other streams will be held from March 17 to 30, 2021. However, the evaluation for Kerala Plus 2 practical will be conducted later.

Subjects without Practicals: 9.40 A.M TO 12.30 P.M including Cool Off Time of 20 minutes

Subjects with Practicals except Biology & Music: 9.40 A.M TO 12.00 P.M including Cool Off Time (20 minutes)

Biology: 9.40 A.M TO 12.10 P.M including Cool Off Time (25 minutes ie., 10 minutes each for Botany & Zoology and 5 minutes preparatory time for Zoology)

Goa Board Exam 2021 Update : Goa Board Class 10th & 12th Exams 2021 to be Held in April-May

Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) and Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams will be held in April-May 2021, the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary announced on Thursday.

Board Chairman Ramakrishna Samant told reporters that the state government has approved the proposal to conduct the std 10 and 12 board examinations in April and May next year.

Practical examination for HSSC would be held from April 1 to April 24, while written exam would be held from April 26 to May 15, he said.

The practical examination for SSC will be held from April 5 to April 30 and written exam from May 13 to May 31.

Subject-wise time-table will be notified by January 15, 2021, he said.


Karnataka Board Exam 2021 Update : Karnataka SSLC, PUC (10th, 12th) Exams will Not be Held in March

Exams for Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) --class 10 and Pre University Course (PUC) --class 12 will not be held in March 2021, announced Karnataka’s Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar on Tuesday.

“The Department of Education is making all the preparations for the reopening of schools and colleges ensuring that process is safe and sound. The SSLC and PUC exams will not take place in March 2021 due to the shortage of time,” Kumar in a statement said.

The minister said that the timetable for both the exams will be finalised in a week after consulting department officials, school and teachers’ associations.

After being closed for months due to COVID-19 restrictions, schools for Class 6 onwards will re-open from January 1, 2021, Karnataka Education Minister S Suresh Kumar had announced on December 19.


Kerala Board Exam 2021 Update : Kerala to Conduct SSLC, HSC Exams from 17 March 2021

The Kerala government has decided to conduct board exams both SSLC, HSC (classes 10 and 12) from March 17, and will be continued till March 30. Due to the pandemic, the exams of all other classes have been cancelled and students will be promoted further, the government briefed informed today. Also schools, colleges, including professional colleges — engineering, medical, agriculture, fisheries will reopen from January.

Last year, the board exams were affected due to pandemic, and several papers were conducted later in May. The results were released in June. To pass the exam, a candidate is required to get a minimum of 35 percent marks in each subject out of 100 marks. For the science subject, consisting of theory and practical examination, minimum marks to pass is 20 out of 75 in theory and 15 marks out of 25 in practical.

Meanwhile, the education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal recently said as the board exams are near, various states have reopened their schools maintaining the COVID-19 safety protocols.

Pokhriyal said, “The department of school education and literacy, ministry of education has already issued SOP/ guidelines for reopening of schools which deals with health and safety aspects for reopening schools and learning with physical/ social distancing and the academic aspects related to the delivery of education. Ministries are constantly in contact with states.”


Bihar Board 2021 Update : Bihar Board Releases Revised Datesheet for Intermediate Exams

As per the revised schedule, the class 12 exam will be held from February 1 to 13

The Bihar School Education Board (BSEB) has released the revised schedule for intermediate (class 12 board) examinations. As per the revised schedule, the exam will begin from February 1, which was scheduled from February 2. The inter exams will be held in two sessions till February 13.

The morning session will be held from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm and the afternoon session will be held from 1:45 pm to 5 pm. The class 12 practical exams will be held from January 9 to 18, as per the official statement by the board. The science stream students will appear in physics on their first day, arts stream students in political science, Hindi for vocational stream students.

Meanwhile, the class 10 exam will be conducted from February 17 to 21.

A ‘cool-off’ time of additional 15 minutes will be given to the examinees during which they can read the questions and plan the answers accordingly. Schools will also have an internal assessment for science and social science subjects. Marks for these subjects will be given on the basis of literacy activities and project work.


NIOS Class 10, 12 Date Sheet 2021 : Exams will Start on January 22 2021

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has released the date sheet for the class 10 and 12 board exams. The exams will start on January 22 for both the classes. Exams will be held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The datesheet is for theory exams and the practical exams will be held in their respective regional centres where candidates enrolled during admissions.

The exam fee paid by the candidates will entitle them to appear in practical exams. For theory exams, candidates will have to download hall tickets from the website. NIOS October Board Exams 2020 : To Be Held In January-February 2021

The National Institute Of Open Schooling (NIOS) October 2020 Public Examination for Secondary and Senior Secondary programmes will be conducted between January-February, 2021. NIOS Date sheet for Secondary and Senior Secondary course will be ‘announced shortly’ at the official.

The Schedule for registration and payment of examination fee for Secondary and Senior Secondary conducted in January- February 2021 is as follows:

Candidates will be required to submit exam fee of Secondary and Senior Secondary examination within the stipulated time.

CBSE Class 10th 2020 : Compartment Exam Result Declared

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday declared the results class 10th compartment examination on its official website. A total of 56.55% students passed the compartment exam this year.

Students who had appeared in the CBSE class 10 compartment examination can check their results online at However, the direct link to check CBSE class 10 compartment results is not uploaded on the CBSE official website yet.

The board conducted the class 10th Compartment examination from September 22 to 30, 2020, at 1248 centres spread across the country.

A total of 14,97,26 candidates appeared for the class 10 compartment exam out of which 82,903 students passed the exam this year.

CBSE Compartment Result 2020: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced Class 12 compartment result. As many as 59.43% students have passed the CBSE compartment exam 2020. The CBSE Class 12 compartment exam result 2020 has been made available on the official portal of the Board — Candidates can also check their result from the DigiLocker website and app. The Class 12 compartment exam 2020 was conducted by the CBSE from September 22 to September 29 and according to official information, over 85 thousand students have appeared in CBSE Class 12 compartment exams.

According to official information, nearly 1,50,198 students of Class 10 and 87,651 Class 12 students have appeared in the compartment CBSE compartment exam 2020.

The Supreme Court had previously asked the CBSE to declare compartment examination results “expeditiously” and asked the University Grants Commission (UGC) to ensure that students get admission in colleges saying “these are exceptional times”.

The SC had also asked UGC and CBSE to work in tandem to ensure that the careers of over two lakh compartment students are not jeopardized.
