Mobile Phones Seize from Six Students in HS Exam

Mobile phones were seized from six students of the Higher Secondary Examinations on Saturday, a West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Examinations official said. Saturday was the fourth day of the plus two board examinations and warnings were declared earlier that a student's registration would be cancelled if found carrying mobiles in examination centres.

The official said mobile phones were found in the possession of students in four exam centres in the city and its suburbs at Khardah, Kamarhati, Amherst Street and Agarpara, besides two students at Kaliaganj in North Dinajpur and Cooch Behar on Saturday.

 

Examinations of Business Studies, Biology and Political Science took place on Saturday. The official said the six examinees would be banned from taking the remaining examinations and the process of cancellation of their registration will be initiated after getting the report from the in-charge of respective centres. So far, 13 students have been caught carrying mobile phones inside the examination halls since the HS examinations started on February 26.

OMR sheets of the Mathematics paper of 108 candidates who had appeared for matriculation exam were found missing from a government high school in Malkangiri district on Sunday. The matter came to light after the officials of SSD High School at Padia lodged a complaint at Padia police station, Malkangiri. The complaint said the optical mark recognition sheets of nearly 108 candidates, who appeared for Mathematics examination on Saturday, have gone missing from the school premises. Malkangiri Superintendent Jagmohan Meena said a team led by ASP U C Nayak has been sent to the school to conduct a thorough probe into the incident.

The investigation is in progress to ascertain the circumstances in which the OMR sheets went missing," he said. The school officials have also informed the district administration and the Board of Secondary Education, which conducts the annual matriculation exam in the state, about the incident. Malkangiri sub-collector Rameswar Pradhan and other senior officials have reached the school for conducting further inquiry into the matter. The community comes a day after images of Mathematics question paper of the ongoing matriculation exam surfaced on social media on Saturday, prompting the state government to suspend three teachers in Kalahandi. Earlier, the question papers of Hindi, Odia, and English subjects went viral on social media, putting the BSE, Odisha, in a tight spot.

 

The matriculation exams began on February 22 and would end on March 8. The Board of Secondary Education had earlier suspended 10 persons, including four exam centre superintendents, for their alleged role in spreading images of question papers on social media.

उत्तर प्रदेश मध्यम शिक्षा परिषद उन उम्मीदवारों के लिए फिर से प्रैक्टिकल परीक्षा आयोजित कर रहा है, जिन्होंने किसी कारणवश परीक्षा छोड़ दी थी। बोर्ड ने पहले ही परीक्षा तिथियां तय कर दी हैं। प्रैक्टिकल परीक्षा के लिए, बोर्ड ने 9 केंद्र नियुक्त किए हैं। बोर्ड ने संबद्ध स्कूलों को भी सूची भेज दी है और परीक्षार्थियों को भी सूचित कर दिया है। जिले में यूपीएमएसपी ने 31 परीक्षार्थियों की नियुक्ति की है। इसके बाद, छात्रों को प्रैक्टिकल परीक्षाओं के लिए उपस्थित होने की अनुमति नहीं दी जाएगी। 12 वीं कक्षा की प्रैक्टिकल परीक्षाएं 05 और 06 मार्च, 2019 को आयोजित की जाएंगी। जिले में लगभग 1,00,489 छात्र परीक्षा के लिए पंजीकृत हैं। जिसमें से 44,666 इंटरमीडिएट के हैं। प्रारंभ में, 12 वीं कक्षा की प्रैक्टिकल परीक्षाएं दिसंबर 2018 से जनवरी 2019 के बीच आयोजित की गई थीं। उस अवधि में, कई छात्रों ने परीक्षा में बैठने का प्रबंधन नहीं किया। इसलिए, बोर्ड ने उन्हें प्रैक्टिकल परीक्षाओं के लिए उपस्थित होने का दूसरा अवसर देने का निर्णय लिया है।

12 वीं कक्षा की बोर्ड परीक्षाएं 07 फरवरी से शुरू हुईं और 02 मार्च, 2019 को समाप्त हुईं। पहली और आखिरी परीक्षा क्रमशः वुडवर्क / प्रिंडशिल्प / स्टिचिंग / साइकोलॉजी / पेडागॉजी / लॉजिकल स्टडीज और अंग्रेजी की थी। और 10 वीं कक्षा के लिए, बोर्ड ने 07 फरवरी से परीक्षाएं आयोजित कीं और 28 फरवरी, 2019 को समाप्त हुईं। पहली परीक्षा संगीत गायन के लिए थी और अंतिम संस्कृत थी।

 

वर्तमान वर्ष में 10 वीं कक्षा के लिए लगभग 31,95,603 छात्र परीक्षा में बैठे थे। और कक्षा 12 के लिए, लगभग 26,11,319 छात्रों ने परीक्षाओं में भाग लिया था। तो, चालू वर्ष में, हाईस्कूल और इंटरमीडिएट की परीक्षाओं में 58,06,922 छात्र उपस्थित हुए है। इस वर्ष के छात्र पिछले साल की तुलना में 9,15,846 कम हैं। अब, छात्र परिणाम की खोज कर रहे हैं। पिछले साल, यूपी बोर्ड परिणाम 29 अप्रैल, 2018 को घोषित किया गया था। इसलिए, इस वर्ष छात्रों को अप्रैल 2019 के चौथे सप्ताह में परिणाम मिल सकता है। उसी दिन, 10 वीं कक्षा के लिए परिणाम भी घोषित किया गया था। तो, इस वर्ष, परिणाम दोनों वर्गों के एक ही दिन जारी किया जा सकता है।

उत्तर प्रदेश में हाल ही में संपन्न बोर्ड परीक्षाओं में 6,52,881 छात्र उपस्थित नहीं हुए। एक अधिकारी ने उस राज्य में एक स्वतंत्र और निष्पक्ष परीक्षा आयोजित करने के लिए बोर्ड के दृढ़ संकल्प का हवाला दिया जहां पहले बड़े पैमाने पर धोखाधड़ी और पेपर लीक हुआ था। बोर्ड की इंटरमीडिएट परीक्षाओं के अंतिम दिन 2 मार्च को कुल 2,019 छात्र अंग्रेजी के पेपर के लिए नहीं बैठे थे। इससे पहले 2018 में, परीक्षा के पहले दिन 53,100 हाई स्कूल के छात्रों सहित 1.8 लाख से अधिक छात्र अनुपस्थित थे।

इस साल, बोर्ड ने धोखाधड़ी को रोकने के लिए कड़े कदम उठाए। बोर्ड की एक प्रेस विज्ञप्ति में कहा गया, अब तक परीक्षा के अंतिम दिन 11 को मिलाकर कुल  403 छात्रो को धोकाधड़ी करते हुए पकड़ा गया है, जिसमें 5 लड़के और छह लड़कियां शामिल हैं। धोखाधड़ी करने वालों के बारे में, यूपीएसईबी की सचिव नीना श्रीवास्तव ने कहा, "समिति द्वारा इस पर विचार किया जाएगा और अगर दोषी पाया गया तो उनका परिणाम रद्द कर दिया जाएगा।" बोर्ड ने परीक्षाओं के समय अप्रिय घटनाओं के मामलों में 68 प्राथमिकी दर्ज कीं। मुजफ्फरनगर में कक्षा 12 भौतिकी की परीक्षा के दौरान धोखाधड़ी की घटनाएं सामने आई थीं, जिसमें 14 हमलावरों सहित 17 लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया गया था।


इस वर्ष बोर्ड परीक्षा के लिए 58 लाख (58,06,922) छात्र पंजीकृत हुए, जो राज्य भर में 8,354 केंद्रों में आयोजित किया गया था। “ 10 वीं और 12 वीं कक्षा के परिणाम अप्रैल के दूसरे या तीसरे सप्ताह में घोषित किये जाएंगे। श्रीवास्तव ने कहा कि बोर्ड जल्द ही सही तारीख और समय बताएगा। पिछले साल, यूपी बोर्ड ने 29 अप्रैल, 2018 को कक्षा 10 वीं और 12 वीं की परीक्षाओं के परिणाम घोषित किए। लगभग, 75.16 प्रतिशत छात्रों ने कक्षा 10 की परीक्षाओं को मंजूरी दी। लड़कियों का पास प्रतिशत 78.81 प्रतिशत था और लड़कों के लिए यह 72.27 प्रतिशत था।

Central Board of Secondary Education 12th English paper was conducted on 2 March over the country. As many as 12.87 lakh candidates have registered for the 12th Class board examination 2019. The exam concluded at 1:30 pm and the first feedback of teachers and students have been recorded. While overall the question paper was balanced by the authorities, some candidates have reported concerns over the choice in the questions from the novel. Many teachers have also been asked to give feedback to the board regarding the same. CBSE has a provision wherein the teachers are needed to provide feedback to the board regarding the question paper. Any concerns over the questions paper are then recorded and accordingly checked by the examination board. Soon after the paper started, the dilemma over the choice in the novel question began to do rounds. Many candidates reportedly spoke with the teacher on duty and showed concern over the choice.

Messages have also been exchanged however there is no confirmation as yet. However, some teachers have shown that they might write to the board in regards to the choice and ask boards to be given grace marks in lieu of. As for the remaining paper, the overall feedback was a nice and well thought out paper. Candidates were particularly happy with the writing part which has enough choices for every candidate. The reading part was also said to be simple and well balanced. It was from the syllabus and fully balanced with enough choice for all kinds of aptitude. The paper was also considered as scoring by many. As for the change on grace marks, teachers said that it was too soon but the candidate may get grace marks. The next examination is on March 5 for Physics.

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations conducted the examination of 12th class Chemistry on Friday i.e. on March 01, 2019. According to the students, the paper was quite easy. The students were happy with the questions. It is meant that this is the easiest question paper in the past 14 years. As per the students, There were no tricky questions in the examination. The previous year, the numerical questions use to be asked indirectly. However, this year, the numerical was asked straight. The questions were asked as it is now in the syllabus. According to the board, the weightage of marks which is defined in the syllabus for a particular topic, the questions came as per the specific weightage. However, there were some questions from the NCERT books.

Last year, the board made some changes in the examination pattern. In the question paper, they had raised the number of choices. In the current paper, there was a very hard question but as the choice, the ISC board asked a question from the reasoning part. So, it became easy for the candidates to attempt. Also, the questions of equation balancing were easy.

 

There was also the mistake in the question paper. The question number was 9. In the question, there was printed oxetic acid at the place of acetic acid. At two places in the question, acetic acid was at one side and on the other side, there was oxetic acid. When the misprint was known then the teachers reviewed it and also they informed the other schools.

West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education has extended the timing of the exam of 12th class due to the inclement weather situations in the state since yesterday. It has been raining regularly since yesterday in the state. Understanding that the weather may create difficulties for students, the committee has extended the time. The time to enter the exam has been extended till 9:45 am and if required, students would be provided with an extension of time from 1:15 pm to 1:30 pm. Official notification regarding the same has also been issued on the official website.

“All the District Inspector of Schools of the Districts are requested to inform the Centre Committee and the Joint Conveners that due to heavy rainfall candidates will be allowed to enter their Venues between 9:30 am to 9:45 am,” read the official announcement. After completion of the routine rules, if required, examination time may be extended up to 1:30 pm instead of 1:15 pm in the affected areas for today only, mentioned the official information. Kolkata is suffering from the heavy rainfall from Thursday onwards. Not only the capital but many areas of the states are also witnessing this unpleasant weather. Many cities of the states are being waterlogged due to heavy rainfall for the past two days.

 

 

The WBCHSE board has been kind to the students as the board changed the timing for the examination. It’s supposed to be till 1.15 but now it has been extended to 1.30 pm. Candidates are allowed to reach the examination centre until 9.45. बिहार में हाल ही में संपन्न 10 वीं कक्षा की परीक्षाओं के दौरान धोखाधड़ी की सामग्री के साथ पकड़े जाने के बाद, लगभग 162 उम्मीदवारों को परीक्षा से निष्कासित कर दिया गया है और 55 अन्य छात्रों के रूप में प्रतिरूपण के लिए गिरफ्तार किया गया है। ड्यूटी पर लापरवाही के लिए अधिकारियों के खिलाफ भी कार्रवाई की गई। “गवर्नमेंट हाई स्कूल (गर्दनीबाग) में बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष आनंद किशोर की यात्रा के समय, एक अधिकारी और साथ में उसका सहायक अधिकारी, पटना रीजनल ऑफ़िस, अपने कर्तव्य की अवहेलना करते पाए गए। बिहार बोर्ड ने दोनों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की है, ”बिहार बोर्ड के एक अधिकारी ने indianexpress.com को बताया। इससे पहले, 12 वीं कक्षा की परीक्षा में, 432 छात्रों को धोखा देते हुए पकड़ा गया था जिसमें 26 प्रतिरूपणकर्ता शामिल थे।

इस वर्ष, बोर्ड ने एक स्वतंत्र और निष्पक्ष परीक्षा आयोजित करने के लिए कड़े कदम उठाए। अधिकारी ने कहा, "परीक्षा की निगरानी के लिए एक 24 × 7 नियंत्रण कक्ष के अलावा, जिला मजिस्ट्रेट और शिक्षा अधिकारियों के साथ संपर्क रखने के लिए एक व्हाट्सएप समूह भी बनाया गया है।" राज्य भर के 38 जिलों में 1,418 परीक्षा केंद्रों पर आयोजित 10 वीं कक्षा की परीक्षा में कुल 16.6 लाख उम्मीदवार उपस्थित हुए। 10 वीं और 12 वीं कक्षा की परीक्षाओं के परिणाम जून में घोषित होने की उम्मीद है। 12 वीं कक्षा की परीक्षा पास करने के लिए, छात्रों को प्रत्येक विषय के सिद्धांत भाग में कुल अंकों का 30% और प्रति विषय के व्यावहारिक में कुल अंकों का 40% प्राप्त करना होगा।

 

पिछले साल, बिहार बोर्ड ने 12 वीं कक्षा की परीक्षाएं 6 जून को और 10 वीं कक्षा की परीक्षाओं का परिणाम 26 जून, 2019 को घोषित किया था।

Class 10th students will appear for the Secondary School Certificate board examination starting Friday with language as their first paper. A total of 16,41,568 students will appear for the new course whereas 59,245 will appear for the old course. The examinations, that will go on till March 22, will have activity-based questions, according to a statement issued by the Ashok Bhosale, secretary of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. After the examination, the students can check the results through the FastResult websites. The results will also be available through FastResult Mobile app.

 

This year, the board revised the SSC syllabus, paper patterns and also scrapped internal exam for languages and social sciences. Of the total candidates, 9,27,822 are boys & 7,72,842 are girls. The students belong to 22,244 secondary schools and will appear in 4,874 examination centres spread in 9 divisions: Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Amravati, Latur and Konkan.

TN Board 12th exams 2019 are starting from today i.e. March 01, 2019. The old syllabus and new syllabus students first exam is Language. The Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam has also wished the students to do well in the examinations. However, still, the students of the 12th class are confused about the new examination pattern. After the change in the exam pattern, this is the first batch which is going to appear for the examinations. So, the students are nervous due to the changes in the board examination pattern. As per the new pattern, the examination duration has been reduced from 3 hours to two and a half hours. Earlier, the board uses to assign 200 marks to the per subject. But now, the TN Board has reduced it to 100 each subject rather than 200. Also, the question papers of Language & English have been merged. Initially, these exam papers were separate.

On the other hand, the students were also worried because the board had not explained the topics and the respective marks from the specific section. So, the, students are confused about which part of the syllabus would have how man marks. Although the Directorate of Government Examinations had declared the sample or model papers. But it didn't release the proper answer key. The model papers were made by the Tamil Nadu Educational Board. As per the official, this step was an effort to prepare the students so that they don't depend on the back of the book questions. 

 

This year the board examinations of Tamil Nadu board will be held at 7,081 centres. In the current year, the number of exam centres has been increased by 150. Now, the students are not needed to travel more than 10 km to appear for the board examinations. Also, to prevent the Question paper leak, the board has found 691 routes through which papers will be carried to the examination centres. Also, with the same route, the answer sheets of the students will be transported to the control rooms. The board has also decreased the number of private school teachers employed in the exam process. From 50,000, it has been drastically decreased to 2,000 for language and English examinations.

 

The second examination of 12th class is on March 05, 2019 for English. The exams will end on March 19, 2019.
