The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is expected to declare the Maharashtra Class 12 (HSC) Result 2025 on May 6, 2025, through fastresult.in website and Mobile App. Students will be able to check their results by entering their roll number and mother's first name.
Although Sharad Gosavi, a senior official of the Maharashtra Board, earlier indicated May 15, 2025 as a tentative date for the results, recent media reports suggest the board is likely to announce the results earlier, on May 6. However, the board has not officially confirmed any fixed date.
This year, the HSC exams in Maharashtra saw participation from over 15 lakh students, comprising 8,10,348 male, 6,94,652 female, and 37 transgender candidates. The exams were held under strict vigilance, with flying squads deployed and Section 144 imposed in areas surrounding exam centres to ensure fair conduct.
Once announced, students are advised to download and take a printout of their provisional marksheets for use in college admissions and further applications. The original marksheets will be distributed by the respective schools later.
In addition, students dissatisfied with their results will be allowed to apply for revaluation or verification, and details regarding supplementary exams will be released shortly after the results.

Step 1: Candidates need to visit the fastresult.in website and the Mobile App.
Step 2: On the homepage, candidates will find a link that says 'Maharashtra HSC Result 2025' - click on it
Step 3: Now, candidates need to enter the details asked including their roll number and mother's first name.
Step 4: The Maharashtra HSC Result 2025 will be displayed on the screen
Step 5: Students can download the result and check the details mentioned
