PSEB 10th Result 2025-26 Toppers List: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has officially declared the Class 10 Result 2025-26 today, May 11, 2026, on its official website, pseb.ac.in. Along with the result, the board has also released the official toppers list, district-wise performance data, and gender-wise pass percentage statistics.

This year, Harseen Sharma from Saraswati Senior Secondary School, Jaito (Faridkot), has emerged as the state topper with an outstanding score of 646 out of 650 marks (99.38%). The overall pass percentage of the PSEB Matric 2026 exam stands at 94.52%, with girls once again outperforming boys.

PSEB 10th Result 2025-26 – Overall Pass Percentage

The Punjab School Education Board has reported an overall pass percentage of 94.52% for the Class 10 exams 2025-26. Out of 2,69,505 students who appeared, 2,54,744 students have successfully cleared the exam. The result reflects a strong academic performance across all categories, with girls, rural students, and non-government school students leading in their respective segments.

PSEB 10th Result 2025-26 – Gender-Wise Performance

Girls have once again outperformed boys in the Punjab Board Class 10 exams 2025-26. The gender-wise data shows that girls recorded a pass percentage of 95.96%, while boys stood at 93.23% — a clear lead of 2.73 percentage points.

Out of 1,27,753 girls who appeared, 1,22,595 cleared the exam. On the other hand, 1,32,143 boys passed out of 1,41,746 who appeared. Interestingly, all 6 transgender students who appeared this year have successfully passed, recording a perfect 100% pass percentage.

PSEB 10th Result 2025-26 – Area-Wise Performance (Rural vs Urban)

Rural area students have once again proven their academic strength in the PSEB Matric exams 2026. The pass percentage in rural areas stands at 95.35%, significantly higher than the urban area's 92.98%. Out of 1,74,958 students from rural areas, 1,66,830 have passed the exam, while in urban areas, 87,914 out of 94,547 students cleared the exam. This year's data clearly highlights the growing academic competitiveness of rural Punjab.

PSEB 10th Result 2025-26 – School Category-Wise Performance

Among different school categories, non-government schools have recorded the highest pass percentage at 95.97%, followed by government schools at 94.45%. The aided schools have reported the lowest pass percentage at 89.68%, which has raised concerns about the quality of education in this category. Government schools, which had the highest number of appearing students (1,78,498), have shown a stable performance with 1,68,593 students passing the exam.
